It’s Football Season!
by Joshua on Sep.12, 2010, under Sports
So with all the love and shout-outs that have been going around for college and pro football, I figured I would share the wealth and post some pee-wee league games that took place in my area. I got invited to come out to a few games and take some shots for parents. These are a few of the ‘em.
On another note, it should go without saying that the 365 project is dead but hopefully I can get motivated to at least start posting once a week and keep my skills sharp. And, of course, comments are always welcomed!
Day 95 – Postponed
by Joshua on May.05, 2010, under Self-Portrait
Perhaps it was a mistake to start this while still in Houston. Sorry all but it is too much of a hassle to get my pictures up in time. Consider this week a teaser and I’ll start back up in two weeks. Give me some time to get back into my routine when I get back to Florida. Thanks!
Day 94 – Abstract – Part Deux!
by Joshua on May.04, 2010, under Objects
Today’s pic is more abstract. Took it and edited it all with my phone. Got to work with what you got!
Day 93 – We’ll Leave The Light On For You
by Joshua on May.03, 2010, under Objects
What else would I be taking a picture of when you’re cooped up in a hotel room? I honestly really like the way this picture turned out. Just falls under the “cool” category for me. Thoughts?
Day 92 – Hey Batter Batter!
by Joshua on May.02, 2010, under Sports
Today was a tough day to get some new photos so I’m posting a picture I took a few days ago at a Houston Astros game. Nothing fancy here. It’ll take me a few days to get into the swing of things.
Day 91 – To Infinity And Beyond!
by Joshua on May.01, 2010, under Objects
Welcome back everyone! Did you miss me? I know you did! For those that don’t know, I’ve currently been working in Houston and will continue to do so for the next week. I have my camera but no software so things are a little harder to edit and upload but I’ll try to keep this blog updated.
Today’s picture comes to you from Johnson Space Center. It’s the five main engines used to launch the 3400 ton Saturn V rocket into space during NASA’s Apollo program. Each engine is 12 feet in diameter! It’s an interesting point of view (it’s the only one you can really get with the way the building is laid out) but it gives you a feeling of the immense size of the engines/rocket.
Day 90 – So Long & Thanks For All The Fish!
by Joshua on Mar.31, 2010, under Food
I’ve decided to take April off from this project. This is starting to feel more like a chore than a fun project and I don’t want to just start uploading snapshots of my day. (It’d just be pictures of a cement plant anyway
) Take this cupcake as a token of my appreciation for following my project this far and I hope to see you back in May!
(I’ll probably post random pictures between now and then just not on a daily basis)
